RubyConfUa 2010 will take place in Kyiv, Ukraine, October 16-17. The aim of conference is to give possibilities for offline communication for ruby-developers from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, CIS countries and guests from other countries.

The program will include:

• two sessions of technical reports;
• business-session;
• live interview with guests;
• master-classes for beginners;
• ruby-projects presentation;
• many useful and interesting communication.

Special guest of event: José Valim (@josevalim) is the lead-developer and co-founder of Plataforma Tec and a member of the Rails Core Team . He started working with Ruby and Rails in late 2006 and he began contributing actively to Rails during his Google Summer of Code 2009 project, leading him to be invited to be part of the Rails Core Team a few months later. After his Machine Learning master's degree in Italy, he's been flying constantly between Brazil and Poland. Some say that it is his "eureka" time to code and bring new open-source projects to life.
